I have been trying to pick out a good movie to watch with my wife for 7 and a half years. I scroll through the options on streaming sites like Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hoopla while Amanda gets sleepy.
My favorite are the spooky, old movies from the 70s and 80s. Event though obscure genre films aren't really Amanda's jam, she always gives them a shot with an open mind. But she does say what she feels and she has a wit sharper than Michael Myers' butcher knife.
That sounds like a podcast to me! And so it is. The Cheap Chills Show.
Listen to Ben and Amanda watch trailers and clips then launch into discussion, pondering on things like movie titles, posters and VHS boxes, childhood fears, are you still reading this? It's free. Just listen.
Go to CheapChillsFanClub.com for new episodes, or however you get podcasts, through iTunes, Stitcher, Soundcloud. If you like what you hear, please share the show with your friends!
Oh, also Ben and Amanda lived in San Francisco for 7 years and have amassed an amazing set of friends; artists, comedians, and other notable weirdos who you've totally heard of. These people will eventually be talked into coming onto the show to share weird and scary clips.
If you are one of those friends (from the past or future) who would like to guest on the show and tell us about a scary or weird movie from your childhood, send me a message!
